LEWIS, Kan. — U.S. Senator Roger Marshall, M.D. participated in the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Blue Twin Circle Dairy in Edwards County. The 25,000-head dairy will deliver milk directly to the Hilmar Cheese plant currently under construction in Ford County. The dairy will bring 120 new jobs to the region and represents a $100 million investment.

“I’m excited for this groundbreaking construction to begin in Lewis and the growth it will bring to our community,” Senator Marshall said. “Our Kansas farms and dairies are the backbone of our economy. With this new development, I look forward to the increased reliance on Kansas Agribusiness and the success Blue Twins will have once it has access to the highest quality dairy products in the country. Thanks for having me!”
