HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Salvation Army of Hutchinson Kansas will be having their annual fundraising dinner on Friday, Aug. 4, 2023 at 6 p.m. at the Cosmosphere and Space Center, located at 1100 N. Plum Street in Hutchinson, Kansas. The inspirational theme this year is “Fight for Hope”.
“We will be sharing stories of how The Salvation Army in Hutchinson has served in Reno County this past year and how, in coming alongside others in times of need, we have been able to fight for hope together,” said Major D.J. James.
The dinner will feature live music, a silent auction and delicious food, all for a good cause in a perfect setting at the Cosmosphere. Former Chiefs player and Ambassador Tim Barnett will be available for photos and autographs after the meal. The evening will culminate with the announcement of our local volunteer of the year award winner.
Tickets and sponsorships are still available for purchase. All proceeds from the event will go to fund programs and services run exclusively out of the Salvation Army Hutchinson Kansas Community Center.
