HUTCHISON, Kan. – While generous donations have provided food, toys, clothing, blankets, and stocking stuffers, The Salvation Army of Hutchinson still needs the community’s help to reach its annual Christmas campaign goal.
The campaign runs until January 31, but a significant portion of the $300,000 goal comes from the iconic red kettles placed outside retail stores.
“There have been so many generous donors,” said Major James. However, following Thursday’s windstorm and grass fire, the organization has fallen further behind The Salvation Army is still hoping for $30,449 to complete their red kettle goal of $85,000 for the season, and they need your help!
