PAWNEE COUNTY, Kan. — One person was killed early Saturday morning in a single vehicle crash on K-156 about a mile east of Rozel.
The Kansas Highway Patrol said a car driven by Jon Myles Worelk Blakely, 36, of Rozel was eastbound on 156 when he left the road, overcorrected, and after it returned to the roadway it overturned and came to rest in the north ditch.
Blakely, who was the only person in the car and was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, was pronounced dead at the scene.
