RICE COUNTY, Kan. — A Rice County Sheriff’s Deputy had a very close call over the weekend when they were nearly struck head-on by a wrong-way driver on K-14 south of Lyons.
A Dash Cam video from the patrol vehicle indicated the deputy was northbound on K-14 when a southbound pickup went into the northbound lane, veering to the east shoulder just before impact would have happened at the north end of a bridge.
