RICE COUNTY, Kan. — The Rice County Community Foundation is excited to announce the search for a new Executive Director as Karly Frederick, the current Executive Director, prepares to embark on a new journey in pursuit of higher education at Queen’s University in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Karly has been an instrumental part of RCCF since January 2021, spearheading various initiatives and leaving a significant impact on the Rice County community.
During her tenure, Karly led the creation of a new granting program, facilitated the foundation’s first-ever match week, and actively contributed to community development projects, elevating RCCF’s role in fostering philanthropic efforts and charitable investments within the county. While we bid her farewell, we wish her the very best in her future endeavors.

Position Summary:
The Executive Director of the Rice County Community Foundation will be responsible for overseeing the foundation’s management, strategic direction, and growth. Working closely with the Board of Directors, donors, community partners, and staff, the Executive Director will advance RCCF’s philanthropic mission and vision. This role requires a dynamic leader with exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills, a profound commitment to community development, and the ability to inspire and mobilize stakeholders.

Professional Qualifications and Personal Attributes:
The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree, a demonstrated passion for philanthropy, excellent interpersonal skills, fundraising experience, visionary thinking, and strong management abilities. Additionally, familiarity with Rice County and the ability to relocate to or reside in the area are required.
