LYONS, Kan. — The Rice County Community Foundation (RCCF) is pleased to announce that the 2025 Community Fund Grant cycle will officially open on August 4 and will remain open through September 10, 2025.
The Community Fund Grants are designed to support impactful projects and programs that serve the residents of Rice County. Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations (501c3), schools, municipalities, and religious organizations operating within the county. These grants are made possible through generous legacy gifts, reflecting the enduring commitment of Rice County residents to the betterment of their communities.
Equitable Funding Across the County
In alignment with RCCF’s mission to serve all corners of Rice County, this year’s grant cycle will once again ensure that each of the eight Rice County communities—Alden, Bushton, Chase, Geneseo, Little River, Lyons, Raymond, and Sterling—has an allotted maximum of available grant funds. This approach guarantees a geographically balanced distribution of resources based on population, allowing tailored solutions and support to thrive in every area of the county.
A Legacy of Philanthropy and Sustainability
The Community Fund is a cornerstone of RCCF’s efforts to build a strong, resilient future for Rice County. Through endowed philanthropy, RCCF is committed to ensuring the long-term sustainability of community programs and projects. Each grant awarded not only supports immediate community needs but also reflects a broader vision of cultivating permanent charitable resources for future generations.
