McPHERSON, Kan. — The ReUse It Center, located at 120 S US Highway 81 Bypass in McPherson was able to donate a total of $4,500 for the month of July.
“When you shop in our store you help support those in need in our community,” The Center said in their celebration post on Facebook. “We are very blessed to have such great customers and so many great non-profits here in McPherson!”
The following was given to these organizations:
- STEPMC received $1,750
- Celebrate Recovery received $1,000
- And The Omega Project received $1,750
STEPMC’s mission is to walk alongside people until they are out of poverty. STEPMC provides a framework for people to build relationships across economic and class lines. They form a community around those in poverty, foster connections, and create pathways of opportunity and success so that people can overcome poverty.

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery program based on the beatitudes. Celebrate Recovery in McPherson, helps people find freedom from hurts, hang-ups, and habits through the love of Jesus Christ.

The Omega Project is a multi-faceted, faith based recovery program that emphasizes heart level changes of men and women. They offer lifestyle change to those whose probable future would have been jail or homelessness. They provide a place to live, teaching and training in lifestyle transformation, work opportunities, and contact with those who have overcome the addictive lifestyle.
