McPHERSON COUNTY, Kan. — McPherson State Representative Les Mason is hospitalized in Wichita after suffering a brain aneurysm Friday.
According to information passed on by Representative Stephen Owens Saturday, Mason had gone to the hospital not feeling well.
In an update sent Saturday evening to his legislative colleagues and shared with Ad Astra News Sunday, Rep. Mason at that time was unresponsive and on a ventilator in the surgical intensive care unit at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
Plans were to run some tests Monday morning to assess brain function.
