RENO COUNTY, Kan. — In light of Suicide Prevention Month, the Reno County Suicide Prevention Coalition is hosting a Reflection Walk on Saturday, September 14th from 9:00am until Noon at the Dillon Nature Center, Taylors Shady Lane Cabin.
The walk is to honor those we love and have lost to suicide, as well as to support those who are still struggling. This walk serves as a moment of unity and remembrance, allowing participants to come together in a shared space of empathy and understanding. It provides a tangible way to honor the memories of those we have lost while also raising awareness about mental health issues. Such an event can also foster a sense of community, support, and healing. Reminding everyone involved of the importance of compassion, open dialogue, and mental health resources.
Reflect at your convenience any time and walk on the beautiful trails at Dillon Nature Center. For more information contact Rise Up Reno Prevention Network at 620-615-4018.
