HUTCHINSON, Kan. – On Tuesday, ProValue Insurance’s donation of a house that sat just to the east of its Hutchinson location to Interfaith Housing and Community Services was made official.
ProValue had previously purchased the property where the home was located along E 30th Ave. At the time, the company’s Board of Directors approved the donation of the house to Interfaith with the intention to move it to another location in Reno County.
Additionally, ProValue Insurance made a cash donation of $30,000 to help cover moving costs.
With lots of planning and assistance, the house was moved on Tuesday. According to Interfaith, it will be relocated near Partridge and will provide housing for a Reno County family.
