By the Kansas State Fair
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — You may be planning your trip for the Kansas State Fair with it being right around the corner. The Kansas State Fair has sent out a reminder that Etix is its only verified seller for tickets.
Purchasing from third-party websites can lead to higher prices or even fake tickets, and Fair Staff cannot reimburse or support tickets bought outside of the official systems.
Tips for Safe Ticket Purchasing:
- When buying online, make sure it’s through the Fair’s secured site through ticket partner Etix. Customers can also purchase tickets at the Fair’s Ticket Office, located in the Administration Building.
- Don’t be fooled by secondary, unsecured sites that imply affiliation with the Kansas State Fair by using photos of the venue and images of grandstand seating or information about upcoming shows.
- The Fair’s official ticket website is https://www.etix.com/ticket/v/12251/kansas-state-fair for concerts, gate admission, and ticket packages.
- If you hear a show is sold out, confirm it first with our ticket office.
- You shouldn’t pay more than the face value, but resale is legal. Research to see if you’re paying too much.
Another way to secure your tickets is through the Fair’s Ticket Office team in person at 2000 N. Poplar, Hutchinson, or over the phone at 620-669-3618. Office Hours are Monday-Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
