GREAT BEND, Kan. – The City of Great Bend Public Lands Department announces that the large playground on the south side of Veterans Lake will be closed for repairs starting Wednesday, June 12, 2024. The closure is expected to last one week.
The Public Lands Department apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates the public’s understanding as they work to improve the safety and quality of the recreational facilities. The repairs are essential to ensure the playground remains a safe and enjoyable space for the Great Bend community.
