HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 7:10 a.m. Saturday at the 800 block of North Plum.
First arriving fire crews found heavy smoke coming from the attic of the home and made an aggressive fire attack in the attic and from the roof.
According to HFD, one person has been displaced from the fire and there were no reported injuries. The cause is currently under investigation.
The Hutchison Police Department, Evergy, Hutchinson Reno County Emergency Communications, Kansas Gas, and Reno County EMS assisted with the fire.
