NICKERSON, Kan. — A Nickerson man was killed in a Sunday afternoon motorcycle crash northwest of Hutchinson.
The Reno County Sheriff’s Office said this morning deputies, along with Reno County EMS and Fire District 3 were called at 3:35 p.m. to just northwest of 56th Avenue and Nickerson Boulevard.
An investigation indicated the motorcycle for unknown reasons left the roadway and continued in the north ditch before coming to rest.
Life saving measures were attempted on the victim, identified as 54-year-old Bruce Stoecklein, who was pronounced dead on the scene.
