MACKSVILLE, Kan. – New Macksville USD 351 superintendent of schools Dr. Suzann Bouray began her new position on July 1st. Bouray comes from Beloit where she served as Transitional Learning Center principal for USD 273.
Bouray has extensive experience as a classroom teacher at both the elementary and secondary levels. She has also served as an adjunct professor.
Bouray holds Bachelor of Science degrees in labor management from Kansas State University and accounting from Kansas Wesleyan University, a Master of Business Management from KWU and a specialist in education degree. She completed her Doctor of Education in educational leadership from Liberty University in 2021.
Bouray and her husband, Darwin, who will be teaching in Macksville, have two sons in the 7th and 5th grades. She succeeds Greg Rinehart who retired at the end of the 2022-23 school year.
