McPHERSON, Kan. — With the storm that blew through McPherson last night, staff was not able to perform mosquito spraying. The City has rescheduled for tonight.
Please note, the City is scheduled to spray for Mosquitos on June 5 and 6. Residents, especially those with asthma or respiratory sensitivity, should remain indoors during spraying. To reduce indoor exposure, residents should close windows, doors, and vents and turn off fans and window-unit air conditioners (or set them to recirculate). They should also remove children’s toys and outdoor furniture from the outside, wash them before using them again, wash all produce, and wash skin and hair if exposed to the pesticide. Times should be between 8 p.m. and Midnight on those dates.
