SOUTH HUTCHINSON, Kan. – Mennonite Friendship Communities Annual Liverwurst and Fried Mush Supper takes place on Friday, Feb. 24th, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Journey at Yoder. Proceeds go to help pay for care for those residents who have outlived their funds.
Cost is by freewill donation.
The traditional Amish meal, which typically raises between $15,000 and $20,000, features fried cornmeal mush, liverwurst or whole hog sausage, and sausage or tomato gravy.
Mennonite Friendship Communities is in its 50th year of offering Independent Living, Assisted Living, Long Term Care, and Rehabilitation Services to residents in Reno County and the surrounding area.
