HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutchinson Community College has announced that Terri McQueen Professor of Mathematics, has been selected as the 2023-24 Dragon Educator of the Year.

McQueen was selected from nominees from all academic areas by the HutchCC Student Government Association (SGA) for the honor. She is also one of the kindest people and is quick to help you if you have a question.”

McQueen has taught at HutchCC since 2002. She teaches Basic Algebra, Intermedia Algebra, College Algebra and Calculus. She received her Bachelors of Science in Mathematics and a Bachelors of Science in Business/Finance from Emporia State University and earned her Masters in Curriculum and Instruction, also from Emporia State.
