WINDOM, Kan. — The Windom Senior Center is the first recipient of a 25th anniversary grant from the McPherson County Community Foundation (MCCF).
The grant, presented at a community celebration this week, will be used to upgrade coffee equipment at the senior center, which serves as Windom’s main gathering place.
Next week, MCCF will be holding two community celebrations. The first will be Monday, March 2 from 5-6 p.m. at Kitchen 64, and the other will be on March 4 from 4-6 p.m. at Knackies in Inman.
Other community celebrations will be held March 9 at the Lindsborg Community Library, March 19 at the McPherson Museum, March 24 at the Canton Carnegie Library, March 25 at the Galva community Center, and March 31 at the Moundridge Senior Center.
