McPHERSON COUNTY, Kan. — The Mastermind McPherson Community Summit will be hitting the road this year. In order to better reach the communities of McPherson County the McPherson County Community Foundation (MCCF) will be traveling to each community to share the results of their survey data.
These community breakout sessions will allow the MCCF and community members to break down the responses for their town.
There are 7 planned breakout sessions that will be paired with the County wide summit. All sessions will take place during the week of Jul. 29 through Aug. 2. Sessions will include community response data on the current needs of each town.
An example from last year showed that many communities wanted to prioritize placemaking and beatification.
Information from last year’s survey data can be found here.
MCCF saw a significant increase in responses from last year’s survey, receiving 973 in 2024. This survey data is especially important to MCCF as it allows the Foundation to recognize priorities and address them with grant dollars.
Community Leaders are especially encouraged to attend these sessions as this data could be useful in their decision-making process.
