Master Gardeners to Offer Substitute for Senior Voucher Program

SHARE NOW

McPHERSON COUNTY, Kan. — While there will likely not be a Kansas Farmers Market Nutrition Program voucher distribution this summer, McPherson County’s Master Gardeners and Friends are stepping up to fill the void.

That group is making available punch cards that can be used at the Farmers Market at the McPherson County 4-H fairgrounds on West Woodside. One punch card will be offered per household, with some age and income restrictions applying.

The punch cards are offered on a first come-first served basis, and applications can be made now at the McPherson County Council on Aging Office on North Main. If you have questions, call 620-241-4383.
