The center will provide 130 childcare slots, including 100 for working families and 30 for at-risk children, giving local children a head start in learning, creativity, and fun.
“We are excited to share our passion of youth sports and keeping the kids of Reno County healthy and active. Our regional sports director, Darrin Regier shares his passion of football with the coaches and teams at the Hutchinson Y and it is through the work of our community partners that events like the Cosmo Bowl can have a lasting impact on our community,” said David Foster, Branch Director at Hutchinson YMCA. “It’s exciting to see families come together, support our kids, and invest in opportunities that empower them to learn, create, and grow.”
“By attending the Cosmo Bowl, our community isn’t just cheering on our young athletes,” said Benjamin Anderson, President & CEO of Hutchinson Regional Healthcare System. “We’re investing in a brighter future for Reno County children through hands-on STEM learning and early childhood development.”
“The Cosmosphere is proud to team up with the YMCA and Hutchinson Regional Medical Foundation to bring an event that combines community spirit with a shared commitment to education,” said Jim Remar, President & CEO of the Cosmosphere. “Cosmo Bowl is about more than football—it’s about inspiring curiosity, collaboration, and the next generation of innovators right here in Hutchinson.”
