HUTCHINSON, Kan. (March 25, 2026) — The Kansas State Fair, in partnership with the Hutchinson/Reno County Chamber of Commerce, celebrated two newly sponsored venues on the Fairgrounds today with ribbon cutting ceremonies recognizing Heartland Credit Union Pavilion and Kansas Star Casino Grandstand.

The morning began with a ribbon cutting at the Heartland Credit Union Pavilion, formerly known as the Peoples Bank and Trust Arena, followed by a second ceremony at the Kansas Star Casino Grandstand.

These sponsorships represent continued investment in enhancing the Fairgrounds experience for guests while strengthening partnerships that support the Fair’s long-term growth and success.

“We’re proud to partner with organizations that share our commitment to the future of the Kansas State Fair,” said Bryan Schulz, General Manager of the Kansas State Fair. “These sponsorships not only enhance key venues on our grounds, but also help ensure we can continue delivering high-quality experiences for fairgoers for years to come.”

Both events included brief remarks from Fair leadership and sponsoring representatives, including Darren Werth, AVP of Community and Government Affairs for Heartland Credit Union; Trace Hughes, VP of Brand and Marketing for Heartland Credit Union; and Sonya Jackson, Director of Marketing for Kansas Star Casino.

The 2026 Kansas State Fair will take place September 11–20 in Hutchinson. This year’s theme, Celebrating America 250, will highlight our nation’s milestone anniversary while honoring the spirit and pride of Kansas. More information about the 2026 Fair is available at KansasStateFair.gov.
