RICE COUNTY, Kan. — Work will begin soon on a K-4 crack repair project in Rice County.

The Kansas Department of Transportation project will be on K-4 from the Barton/Rice county line on the west to the Rice/Ellsworth county line on the east. The length is about 25 miles.

The work is expected to start around Monday, May 6, and be completed around late May or early June.

During the project, traffic will be controlled by flaggers and a pilot car, and motorists should expect to stop and face a delay of up to 15 minutes.
