
McPHERSON, Kan. — Peoples Bank and Trust is proud to announce the addition of Jenell B. Hulse as a Loan Officer at our McPherson Main location. Jenell brings a strong background in banking and a deep commitment to community service, aligning perfectly with the bank’s core values: work hard, have vision, be honest, and build relationships.
Jenell has held a variety of roles including teller, loan operations, credit analyst, and lender. Most recently, she served as the Construction Division Manager and Commercial Loan Officer.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Finance and a minor in Leadership Studies from Kansas State University. Her professional development includes graduating from the Bank Leaders of Kansas program, School of Lending Principles, and Commercial Lending School. She is also a board member of Young Bank Officers of Kansas.

Outside of work, Jenell is a passionate community advocate. She has held leadership roles with numerous organizations, including Svensk Hyllningsfest (past Co-Chair), Kansas Wesleyan University Foundation Board, Lindsborg Planning Commission, and Rotary (Past President, District Visioning Team). She is also active in the American Legion Auxiliary, having held several district and department-level positions.
In her free time, Jenell enjoys volunteering, working out, and traveling. She recently completed her first solo international trip, visiting her sixth continent (Asia) and 31st country (Japan).
A proud native of Lindsborg, Kansas, Jenell describes it as “the Best Square Mile on Earth.”
