HUTCHINSON, Kan. – Do you have a young learner ready to begin kindergarten for the 2023-2024 school year?
Parents of kindergartners for the 2023-24 school year are invited to attend an in-school district-wide Kindergarten Countdown from 6 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 27, 2023, in all the district’s neighborhood elementary schools. This is a come-and-go event designed for students to meet staff and visit their new school.
This is for any child who will be 5 years old on or before Aug. 31, 2023.
If you are new to the district or would like to check what school your child will be attending, please visit https://bit.ly/308boundarymap and click on the magnifying glass in the upper left corner and enter an address to check your neighborhood school.
There will not be a Kindergarten Countdown event hosted at Hutchinson STEM Magnet School at Allen. New kindergartners whose families would like for them to attend Allen are asked to attend the Kindergarten Countdown at their neighborhood school and ask for an application for Allen. There will be a Kindergarten Countdown event at Allen STEM Magnet on May 2, 2023, from 6:00- 7:00 PM.
Families are asked to go on social media and “follow” their school’s page and download the USD 308 mobile app to stay updated with their child’s school and district events.
