What: INMATES RIGHTS PROTEST
When: Saturday, June 21, 2025, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Where: Avenue G/Severance, across from the prison parking lot (close to Eastside Cemetery) and the surrounding area of Central Unit will be the focused route of the protest march.
Why: The inmates’ rights have been/are being violated per the Internal Management Policy and Procedures manual (IMPP) and they are being denied fundamental human rights. Hutchinson Correctional Facility (HCF) and Kansas Department of Corrections (KDOC), have in response been patronizing and denying the ongoing/existing conditions that the inmates are being subjected to.
