HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A 40-year-old Hutchinson man was arrested Wednesday on multiple child sex and drug charges.
Richard Allen Young was taken into custody by the Hutchinson Police Department’s Special Operations Division and booked into the Reno County Correctional Facility on a $100,000 bond, with requested charges including indecent solicitation of a child, electronic solicitation of a child 14 or 15 years of age, sexual exploitation of a child, possession of meth, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia and interference with law enforcement involving destruction of evidence.
Young, who made an initial appearance in Reno County District Court this morning, was also arrested on a parole violation which Kansas Department of Corrections online records indicated was a compact supervision.
