HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Horticulture Club is holding a Plant Sale fundraiser on April 20 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Dillon Nature Center (Main Building), 3002 East 30th Street.
Plants in the following categories will be available:
- Perennials
- Wildflowers
- Herbs
- Annuals
- Vegetables
- Houseplants
The fundraiser will support the following Horticulture Club activities:
- Educational Project for the Community – The “Gathering for Gardeners” a day filled with presentations on various horticulture topics.
- Beautification Project for the Community – Club members grow, plant and maintain a 50′ x 15′ flower bed at the Main Street entrance to Carey Park.
- Monthly Meetings and Programs – Club meetings, including an educational program usually scheduled on the third Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. A meeting schedule will be available at the Plant Sale and can also be found on the club’s Facebook page.
