HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Fire Department responded to the 600 Blk of East A. Ave for a report of a structure fire.
First arriving fire crews entered the structure and found light smoke on the second floor and moderate smoke in the attic. Crews were able to locate and extinguish a small fire in the floor of the second story home.
The house was occupied by 1 adult and 2 children at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. The home sustained minimal damage and is still habitable.
