HARVEY COUNTY, Kan. — Harvey County Commissioners Tuesday approved the purchase of the building at 109 and 111 East 7th in Newton.
The building has previously been a law office, and short term plans are to use it to accommodate offices now at the courthouse as it considers a remodeling project.
Long term this will create options for both the County and the 9th Judicial District. The purchase is expected to close in mid-September, with the purchase price $100,000.
