GREAT BEND, Kan. — A 35-year-old Great Bend man was arrested Tuesday evening on fentanyl distribution charges.
The Barton County Sheriff’s Office said Chet Whetham was taken into custody after deputies executed a search warrant at his residence in a Great Bend Mobile Home Park during which they found fentanyl tablets and powder along with methamphetamine and marijuana.
Wethham was booked into the Barton County Jail on a million dollar bond in this case, and also on outstanding warrants from Harvey County also involving alleged fentanyl distribution, with that warrant having a $50,000 bond.
