GREAT BEND, Kan. — The City of Great Bend would like citizens to know that the roof repair will begin at the Front Door, located at 1615 10th Street in Great Bend.
Preparatory work, including staging of materials along the South side of the building, is scheduled to commence as early as tomorrow. Anticipated to last approximately one week, the project timeframe has been extended to a two-week window to account for any potential weather-related delays, with work expected to be carried out from May 2nd to May 17th.
During the renovation process, we will prioritize safety for all involved parties. While efforts will be made to minimize disruptions, there will be intermittent closures of the drive-thru to facilitate the transportation of supplies and removal of debris from the roof. These closures are essential for ensuring the safety of workers and patrons alike, with durations expected to be kept as brief as possible, ideally limited to a maximum of 30 minutes per instance.
As the project progresses, city staff urges the local community to exercise patience and cooperation. Residents and visitors are kindly requested to adhere to all barricades and closures for their safety and that of the construction team.
