GREAT BEND, Kan. — Fresh Start Woodworks, a new manufacturing venture based in Great Bend, celebrated its grand opening with a Chamber Coffee and ribbon-cutting ceremony, hosted by sister company Just In Time Remodeling. Owned by Justin Mawhirter, both businesses are located at 135 SW 30 Ave in Great Bend, conveniently located just 1 quick mile west of town off Highway 56.

Fresh Start Woodworks, under the leadership of owner Justin Mawhirter, expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support received by the community for Just In Time Remodeling, which was established in 2017. The event showcased the company’s commitment to growth and innovation in the local business landscape.

Fresh Start Woodworks is not just a woodworking enterprise; it is a beacon of hope with a two- fold mission. The company aims to deliver the highest quality cabinetry to contractors and industry dealers while simultaneously providing mentorship and job training opportunities for individuals seeking a fresh start after overcoming addiction or other life-controlling issues.

“Fresh Start Woodworks is not just about creating exceptional cabinetry; it’s about building a community that supports each other through craftsmanship and compassion,” said Justin Mawhirter, owner of Fresh Start Woodworks.

The company’s faith-based mission is evident in every piece crafted by master craftsman Justin Mawhirter, ensuring that each item is not just a functional addition to a home but a lasting work of art. Dennis Morrison, Fresh Start Woodworks’ Production Lead, brings a wealth of experience to the team, contributing to the company’s dedication to excellence.
