GALVA, Kan. — On Monday, Oct. 9., there will be a free will donation taco buffet for McPherson natives Natasha Thrash and her daughter Brailee who have both been diagnosed with cancer.
The mother and daughter duo are known for their sass, spunk, and beautiful smiles. Natasha works as an LPN during the day and was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor after experiencing a sudden tonic clonic seizure (grand-mal seizure). The unexpected news came to her in the midst of caring for Brailee, who has undergone 11 weeks of chemo treatments for pilocytic astrocytoma and continues to receive treatment at this time.
The meal will be served at 56 Family Restaurant in Galva from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and the proceeds from it will help with medical expenses, any treatments not covered by insurance, to help Natasha while she is out of work, and for any other unforeseen expenses that may arise.
It will be first come, first serve, so no reservations will be taken for the event on Oct 9.
