Four Injured in Crash Thursday Morning on US 75 South of Yates Center

YATES CENTER, Kan. — Four people were injured in a late Thursday morning crash on US 75 about five miles south of Yates Center.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a car driven by Deborah Brubaker of Dearing was northbound on US 75 just south of 60th road when as she was passing cars, she struck a pickup driven by John Linden of Hamilton.

Linden’s pickup then went out of control and struck the rear axle of a semi driven by James Powers of Oologah, Oklahoma which then struck a pickup driven by Evelyn Bull of Claremore, Oklahoma.

Brubaker was taken to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita with reported serious injuries. The other three drivers were taken to Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center in Chanute, each with reported minor injuries.
