McPherson County General Grants
USD418 – Reality U – $1,400
McPherson High School has the chance to host Reality U. Through this program, students gain important financial literacy knowledge to help them plan for their future while recognizing the importance of their education today and how it is tied to their financial future.
MARSNAP – Strengthening McPherson County Families Through Affordable Pet Care – $2500 Matching
We assist, as able, people and their pets, preserving the human/animal bond. MARSNAP helps keep families and pets together by helping with spays/neuters, as well as providing pet essentials as budget allows. When animal shelters are over capacity, they cannot provide adequate care/space for all the animals, leading to euthanasia to manage the population.
The Cedars – Expanding Care Capacity with Integrated Healthcare Beds – $10,000
Grant funds will support the purchase of healthcare/hospital bed frames and fulfill remaining bed equipment needs.
Memorial Home DBA Pine Village – AEDs for Community Health and Safety – $3,000
Funding to purchase Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) for facility, which currently has none on campus
David J. Nutt for Lindsborg
Bethany Home – Wifi Bandwidth Improvements – $8,400
This project will upgrade our Wi-Fi infrastructure to meet growing digital needs, ensuring residents and their families have reliable access to streaming, telehealth, and online resources.
Lindsborg Masonic Lodge #397 – Building Kitchen and Bathroom Flood repair – $10,000
Unfortunately, in summer 2026 our historic lodge roof was destroyed by high winds and rain. Extensive damage to our kitchen and bathrooms require total renovation which insurance did not cover. Monies will be used for repair.
Moundridge Community Foundation
Moundridge Public Library – Books on Blankets – $800
Books on Blankets is a program in which children from birth on up, along with families, are invited to bring a blanket to sit on, listen to a read-aloud, receive a snack, and each child can take home a free book.
