RICE COUNTY, Kan. — One person was killed in a single vehicle accident Thursday near Raymond.
Rice County Undersheriff Max Bryant said the crash occurred south of the intersection of 8th Road and Avenue R, where on arrival deputies found a vehicle that had rolled over.
The driver, and sole occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene. Circumstances of the accident remain under investigation.
Rice County EMS and Rice County Fire units from Alden, Lyons and Raymond also responded to the crash.
