RICE COUNTY, Kan. — A Kansas City, Kansas man was killed this morning in a single vehicle wreck on US 56 east of Little River.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Gabriel Herron was westbound on 56 just east of 28th Road, about three miles west of the Rice/McPherson County line, just before 6:30 a.m. when he left the roadway to the right, overcorrected, and went back onto the road, then back into the ditch where his vehicle rolled twice.
Herron, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene.
