A Park City woman was killed in a two vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon on I-135 southeast of McPherson.
The Kansas Highway Patrol said Angel Nichols was southbound on 135 about a mile southeast of the Comanche Road on-ramp at 2:15 PM when her vehicle rear-ended a truck that was slowing and moving forward, yielding to traffic ahead.
Nichols was pronounced dead at the scene, The driver of the truck, Jason Monarez of Wichita and passenger Gary Larson of Salina, were not injured.
The crash closed a six mile segment of southbound I-135 for several hours, it reopened last evening.
