McPHERSON, Kan. — Faithful Fans Sports celebrated their April 22nd grand opening with a 4 o’clock Chamber Ribbon Cutting. Located at 201 S. Centennial Drive, Faithful Fans Sports is designed to bring in everyone from the gift giver to the most faithful sports fan.
Owner Robb Janson recently moved to McPherson from Wichita and is excited to share his love of sports with the area by making his dream of a go-to spot for sports fans come true. Not only does Faithful Fans Sports sell a variety of sports-related items, but there is also a lounge area for fans to watch sports events like the first round of the NFL draft April 25th.
Faithful Fans Sports has a variety of apparel, team travel mugs, and even home décor sure to please every sports fan. Plus, the walls and display cases are lined with autographed memorabilia, all of which come with nationally recognized certifications.
Janson is determined to give back to the community in a variety of ways. On Faithful Fans Sports’ opening day, they held a Kansas City Chiefs raffle for a Travis Kelce autographed football and an Isiah Pacheco autographed mini helmet. All proceeds went to Wichita’s Littlest Heroes, a non-profit organization that supports families with children with life-altering disabilities, including some in McPherson County. This was just the first in a number of community initiatives Janson has in mind. He is also working on getting athletes from the professional and college levels to do meet-and-greets with the community.
