HUTCHINSON, Kan. – StartUp Hutch will host its next Entrepreneurship Connections event on Tuesday, June 23, from 5:30 to 7:00 PM at Sandhills Brewing, located at 111 W. 2nd Avenue in Hutchinson. The event will feature guest speaker Steven Brown, founder and master electrician of Service Plus Electrical.

Entrepreneurship Connections is a free networking event designed to foster discussion, connection, and collaboration among entrepreneurs, small business owners, partners, and community members.

This month’s featured speaker, Steven Brown, is the founder and master electrician of Service Plus Electrical, a Kansas-based residential electrical company on a mission to make homes safer, especially older homes with aging wiring systems. Over the past decade, Brown has worked in thousands of homes and become passionate about helping homeowners understand the hidden risks behind their walls in a way that feels approachable, honest, and empowering without minimizing real hazards. His company specializes in minimally invasive whole-home rewires and electrical safety education, with the long-term vision of “rewiring the state of Kansas” one home at a time.

“Entrepreneurship Connections is about creating space for local business owners to share their stories, learn from one another, and build relationships that strengthen our entrepreneurial community,” said Graham Klemme, executive director of StartUp Hutch. “Steven brings a unique perspective as both a skilled trades business owner and an entrepreneur who is deeply committed to education, safety, and serving Kansas homeowners.”

The event is free to attend. A free drink ticket will be available to those who register in advance. To register, visit StartUpHutch.com.
