CANTON, Kan. — Residents on the south side of Canton will be without water during the day Tuesday through Friday as the city replaces a fire hydrant on Fairview road.
The outage will likely affect all customers south of Railroad Street to US 56 between the hours of 8 AM and 4 PM. Residents in that area are asked to store enough water in advance for household needs.
Once service is back on you may notice temporary discoloration or air in water lines, in which case you should run cold water taps for a few minutes until it clears.
