BUSHTON, Kan. – The Bushton Pride Committee will host a Valentine’s Dinner on Saturday, February 18, at the Bushton Community Center from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. with music for dancing through midnight.
The dinner will include fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, a dinner roll and dessert. The cost of the dinner will be $15.00 per person.
Tickets for the dinner must be purchased no later than Saturday, February 11, and payment can be by cash, check or Venmo. Tickets are available through any Bushton Pride Committee member (Amy Hurley, Missy Wimmer, Buddy and Rosemary Bisterfeldt, Jane Habiger, Karla Hurley, Nancy Swain, Ben Benavidez Jr., Linda Siemer, Stacey Jezek, Michaela Heitschmidt and Becky Wasson) and at the Bushton City Office in the Bushton Plaza.
In conjunction with the dinner, the Pride Committee also will offer a childcare service from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Bushton Plaza. The cost will be $5.00 per child for a light dinner with a free will donation for their care. The childcare service will be available for children two years of age and up and available only for those purchasing tickets to the Valentine’s Dinner.
