HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Bretz Injury Law presents its 5th Annual Reno County Veterans’ Memorial Poker Run. Bretz Injury Law is excited to present its 5th Annual Reno County Veterans’ Memorial Poker Run on Saturday, September 7th. Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. with engines starting at 10:30 a.m.. The Poker Run will begin at Salty Cycles, 129 E Sherman, Hutchinson, KS.
Poker run stops include Nickerson Community Center, Shane Love Insurance Agency in Arlington, Shep Chevrolet in Haven, the Reno County Veterans’ Memorial in South Hutchinson, and Bretz Injury Law in Hutchinson. The entry fee is $25 a hand or $50 for 3 hands with donations also being accepted. All street-legal vehicles are welcome to participate.
The winning hand will receive 25%, the second best hand will receive 15%, and the worst hand will receive 10%. The remaining 50% will be donated to the Reno County Veterans’ Memorial. Door prizes and lunch will be provided following the run. Raffles will be held at the last stop, Bretz Injury Law, with all proceeds benefiting the Veterans’ Memorial.
Kelly Danyluk, President of the Reno County Veterans Association, shares his appreciation for community support. “We are excited for Bretz Injury Law’s 5th Annual Reno County Veterans’ Memorial Poker Run. The proceeds we receive from this event help us continue to improve the Memorial site by replacing the American Flag pole that was broken in a recent wind storm, keeping the flags fresh and new, engraving new names on the granite panels, and planning for future expansion to include a military vehicle display. The Reno County Veterans’ Memorial was built to honor all the Veterans of Reno County and let them know how much we appreciate their service and sacrifices. We could not have built this great memorial without the help of community support like Bretz Injury Law,” says Mr. Danyluk.
