McPHERSON, Kan. — Central Christian College of Kansas (CCCK) is pleased to announce the hiring of Benjamin Epp as Lead Manufacturing Instructor for the Bradbury School of Manufacturing and Innovation (BSMI).
Epp brings extensive experience in manufacturing, engineering and continuous improvement to the College’s growing manufacturing technology program. Throughout his career, he has worked in machining, fabrication, assembly, quality, product development, Lean manufacturing and process improvement, providing him with a broad understanding of the skills and knowledge required in today’s manufacturing industry.
Epp currently serves as Research and Development Lead Engineer at Plastics Extrusion Machinery (PEM) in McPherson, where he leads and coaches engineers and supports the development of new products from design through manufacturing, testing and commissioning.
Previously, Epp served as Continuous Improvement Manager and New Product Development Lead Engineer at PEM. He has also held positions in manufacturing and quality engineering, gaining experience in production-line development, problem-solving, process improvement and collaboration between engineering and production teams.
“Benjamin brings a strong blend of industry knowledge, hands-on experience, faith perspective and a passion for helping others learn,” said Cathy Brown, Provost at Central Christian College of Kansas. “We’re excited to have him join the Bradbury School of Manufacturing and Innovation and share that experience with our students.”
Epp holds a Master of Engineering Management from Kansas State University, as well as degrees in engineering technology, design technology and machining technology.
As Lead Manufacturing Instructor, Epp will bring his industry experience into the classroom and help prepare BSMI students for careers in a rapidly evolving manufacturing workforce.
