LYONS, Kan. — A couple of events have been organized to help the two businesses impacted by Sunday’s partial collapse of their building on the north side of the Square in Lyons.

The Lumberyard on 56 at 113 East Main will be hosting a Build Your Own Burger Bar Friday evening for County Seat Bar and Grill. The event will begin at 5:30 PM, with all proceeds to help County Seat Employees during this difficult time. The Lumberyard will also be hosting a pop-up event for Yeraldi’s Boutique Saturday morning starting at 11.

Brew 56, which adjoins a building to the west of Yeraldi’s that reportedly sustained damage, will remain closed today as they await a structural engineer’s report on their building.

In a Facebook post Sunday, Brew 56 encouraged the community to join in prayers for those whose business and livelihood has been affected and give thanks that no injuries were reported.
