GREAT BEND, Kan. — Not only does the Barton Foundation award hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarships to Barton students each year, but it also aims to help students succeed in all scholarship endeavors and is offering a thorough but easily digestible scholarship workshop March 5 at 2 and 6 p.m. in the Academic Development Center in the Barton Library, room 136 or via zoom at https://bartonccc-edu.zoom.us/j/9150677357.
Every Barton student is eligible for scholarships through the Barton Foundation, as it awards over 275 scholarships each year. The priority deadline to apply is March 15 with rolling awards until the final deadline of Aug. 31. Executive Director of Institutional Advancement Lindsey Bogner said she hopes to share application tips and tricks for any scholarship application along with highlighting key milestones in the scholarship process at Barton.
“Our goal is to help students make college affordable at Barton and beyond,” she said. “There are so many different opportunities for every type of student no matter what they are studying.”
Prospective students must apply at apply.bartonccc.edu and they will then have access to the foundation scholarship application. For more information on foundation scholarships, contact Bogner at [email protected] or (620) 786-1141 or visit bartonccfoundation.org.
