An arrest has been made in the Jan. 31 shooting death of Joshua Soden southwest of Inman.
The Kansas Bureau of Investigation says Daniel T. Hawkinson, 18, of McPherson was arrested early Monday evening by McPherson County Sheriff’s deputies on a single count of voluntary manslaughter.
Soden was fatally shot after two groups that had been in a disagreement at a party encountered each other about two miles from where the party took place.
McPherson County Jail records indicate Hawkinson posted a $200,000 bond late this morning, with an initial court appearance set for April 7 at 1:15 PM.
